A Note from Our Founder

Tim Gregory

Fatherhood is your greatest gift and greatest challenge.  You have the power to defy stereotypes and set the stage for your family’s future. At The Huddle of South Jersey, we strive to give you the opportunity to celebrate fatherhood and the joys that it brings and also get support and guidance to help you through the times of challenge and anxiety that every father feels.

Your ability to navigate both the challenges and joy of fatherhood in a healthy and productive way will shape the lives of your children and grandchildren.

Children set expectations and standards for their own behavior by what they see in the adults around them. No one has more power to change the course of a child’s life than their father.  From the way you interact with their mother and other relatives, to the way you praise them for a job well done, your voice is important. Your voice is powerful.

No one is born knowing how to be a father.  If you did not grow up with the kind of male role model that you want to be for your children, there are resources available to help you learn the skills and techniques that will give you confidence in your parenting and communication ability.

You should never feel ashamed or afraid to be a part of your children’s life because you don’t feel like you know how to be a great dad. Patience, the ability to walk away from an argument, disciplining without causing harm, these are all skills that are learned over time.  Contact The Huddle of South Jersey to learn about the resources that we can offer you today.
